What we’re looking for/grading

Production – The players collegiate production relative to competition; catches, drops, touchdowns etc. Also, did he play within the structure of his college offense?

Athleticism – The blend of height-weight-speed. Informed largely by combine numbers and pro days.

Separation Skills – A player’s ability to separate from man-coverage and the intellectual ability to find soft spots in zone coverage. Separation skills incorporate a players hands and feet as well as head fakes, stutter steps and the ability to get a free release.

Ball Skills – A player’s catching ability and ability to make plays on the ball. This includes a player’s catching radius, catching ability, competitiveness, the ability to catch the ball in traffic and the ability to high point the ball.

Downfield Ability – A player’s ability to make ig plays down the filed, both through the air and in the after the catch game.

Grade Scale:

1 – Poor

2 – Below Average

3 – Average

4 – Above Average

5 – Elite
